Accreditation is the single most important question teachers ask before enrolling in a graduate course. Credits that are not accredited are credits that do not count. Here is exactly what accreditation we carry and why it matters for your salary and license.
Our Accreditation
Our graduate courses are accredited through CSUP (a regionally accredited university partner). Credits are graduate-level, transcripted, and have been accepted by school districts in all 50 states for salary lane advancement and license renewal.
What Makes Credits “Accepted” by Your District
School districts typically require four things before a credit counts:
- Graduate-level — not CEU, PD-only, or undergraduate
- Regionally accredited institution — not a national or unrecognized accreditor
- Official transcript — not a certificate of completion
- Relevance to teaching field — some districts require subject alignment
Our courses check all four boxes.
How to Confirm Acceptance Before You Register
Even with a reputable accredited provider, always confirm with your district’s HR office before paying. Send them a one-sentence email:
“I am planning to take a 3-credit graduate course from Continuing Teacher Grad Courses (CSUP-accredited). Can you confirm these credits will be accepted for salary lane advancement?”
Save the response. If there is ever a dispute, the written approval protects you.
Transcript Details
Transcripts are issued by our accredited partner and look identical to any other university transcript. They include the course name, credits earned, grade, institution name, and registrar signature. Electronic and paper copies are available.
State-Specific Notes
Every state has its own rules for counting graduate credits toward license renewal and salary. We cover the largest states in our States We Serve page.
